Privacy Policy

This explains what information Payout Studio by Whizz ("we", "us") handles and why. We keep it to the minimum.
What we collect
- Payment information. When you buy Pro, Stripe collects your name, email, billing details and card details. We don't see or store your card details. We receive information about your purchase from Stripe, such as your email address, what you bought and its status.
- Access check. To switch on Pro, your browser sends your Stripe checkout session ID to our server, which asks Stripe whether it's a valid active purchase.
- Emails. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the site and keep it secure.
What stays on your device
- Your design settings and your Pro access token are saved in your browser's local storage, so the studio remembers you. You can clear them any time in your browser settings.
- Photos and logos you upload, and the cards you create, are processed in your browser only.
Cookies and analytics
We don't use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. We use browser local storage only for the purposes above. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is sent to Google when a page loads.
Why we use your information
- To provide the Service and unlock Pro after you pay (performance of our contract with you).
- To take payments, keep financial records and meet legal obligations (legal obligation).
- To answer your messages and keep the Service secure and working (our legitimate interests).
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. It is handled by providers who help run the Service: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google (fonts) and our email provider. They process it under their own privacy terms. These providers may process data outside the UK, using safeguards required by law.
How long we keep it
Payment records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting and tax. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your request. Stripe keeps its own records under its own policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. Email whizzbusiness@outlook.com and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Children
The Service is not aimed at anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above.
